Drinks and Burgers at Bungalow 6

The weekend is right around the corner and without a doubt you are looking for something fun to do tomorrow night. Well, if you find yourself in Quito, then head on down to the every popular Mariscal neighborhood and check out Bungalow 6.Bungalow 6

From the outside Bungalow 6 looks like your standard night club crowded into the eight blocks that make up the night scene of Quito. However, on the inside you’ll find it has more to offer than your average dance club.

The main floor is dedicated to dancing, of course. On busy nights, which come every weekend and Wednesdays, when ladies drink free from 7–10, the dance floor can get pretty packed. Locals and tourists flock to this bar, which caters towards a mid-twenties to mid-thirties young hip party crowd.

The second floor additions are what makes Bungalow 6 the perfect choice for wandering gringos of any age. Once you’ve made your way past the dance floor head on upstairs and you’ll find a completey different atmosphere. Don’t worry about getting your drinks from the bar downstairs; there’s a satellite bar on the second floor.

Upstairs you’ll find three rooms, one with the bar, one with a pool table and dart boards, and one large room with comfortable seats and tables. The larger room is just far away from the bouncing club that conversation is possible without shouting. It has a hip college bar feel, with posters from the sixties to the present decorating the walls.

Not only can you enjoy converstaion upstairs, you can enjoy some fantastic bar food as well. Burgers so big they’ll remind you of your favorite diner back home and hot wings that are good enough to not make you quite so homesick for Buffalo Wild Wings.

Bungalow 6 is locaed on Calama, esq. Diego de Almagro in Mariscal.
